| A German seller and an Italian buyer entered into contracts for the sale of textiles. A dispute arose between the parties.
The Court, without mentiong Art. 100 CISG, found that domestic German law was applicable and not CISG since the contracts had been concluded before the date of entry into force of CISG in Germany (January, 1st 1991). |
